Marged Griffiths – General Manager
Marged took up the role of General Manager in November 2009, having previously developed a range of experience within the Public and Voluntary Sectors. Her role is to lead the operational, developmental and partnership activities of Y BONT and contribute to setting the strategic direction of the organisation.
Paula Daniel – Children’s Outreach Worker
(funded by BBC Children in Need)
Paula began volunteering in the playroom at Y BONT in 1998. She soon joined the permanent team of staff as Nursery Nurse in the playroom. Following progression to Senior Nursery Nurse, Paula successfully took responsibility for the smooth running of the playroom until 2003, when she was appointed Children’s Outreach Worker. Paula is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the nursery and co-ordinating services with Health & Educational Professionals and parents.
Cerian Parry – Family Support Worker
Cerian joined Y BONT in 2005 as Valley’s Development Worker and within this role set up and ran a number of Y BONT satellite centres in the local valleys. She became Family Support Worker following restructuring of the organisation in September 2009, and is now responsible for managing the Afterschool Club, Saturday Club and the Holiday Playschemes.
Caron Morgan – Finance Administrator
Caron joined the Y Bont team in July 2010; she ensures that all financial and administrative records are maintained effectively.
Nursery Staff
All our Nursery Staff are Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified and receive regular training in medical procedures, early years and disabilities. They also hold first aid certificates and basic health & safety qualifications.
